Grammar is a device that specifies the infinite set of well formed sentences and the study of the classes of words, their inflections and their functions and relations in the sentences. It is a book containing the morphologic, syntactic and semantic rules for a specific language and the system of rules implicit in a language, viewed as a mechanism for generating all sentences possible in that language.
